Ask, and It Will Be Given to You; Seek, and You Will Find… Coffee | Ceramic Coffee Mug

What’s the one thing worth seeking first thing in the morning? This Bible verse coffee mug offers a beautifully irreverent answer. The quote riffs on Matthew 7:7—where Jesus promises that those who ask will receive, and those who seek will find—by adding the most honest addendum: “Coffee.” It’s a gentle, knowing wink at the divine, acknowledging that while spiritual truth matters deeply, so does that first cup that makes us human again.

The original passage sits in the Sermon on the Mount, where Christ speaks about prayer, persistence, and the Father’s generosity. “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.” It’s an invitation to approach God with confidence and trust. The promise is unconditional, the tone warm. Generations have clung to these words in moments of need, doubt, and longing.

For coffee lovers who also love scripture, this mug captures a lovely truth: faith doesn’t demand we pretend to be superhuman before breakfast. You can hold both reverence and reality in the same hand. The joke isn’t at the expense of the verse—it’s an affectionate acknowledgment that seeking God and seeking caffeine aren’t mutually exclusive pursuits. One fuels the soul; the other fuels everything else until the soul is ready to engage.

Available in two generous sizes, each mug is built to become part of your daily ritual:

• Choose 11 oz ($15.99) or 15 oz ($19.99) to match your morning needs
• Vivid, durable print that withstands countless dishwasher and microwave cycles
• Comfortable easy-grip handle designed for contemplative sipping
• Premium white ceramic that feels substantial in hand
• Arrives ready to gift—no wrapping required for maximum impact

Perfect for the pastor who needs levity, the small group leader with a sense of humor, the seminary student surviving finals, or anyone whose faith is strong enough to laugh at itself. It’s a gift that says you see both their devotion and their humanity.

Sometimes the most faithful thing we can do is admit we’re not fully awake yet. Pour generously, seek diligently, and trust that both prayers and coffee reach their intended destination.
